I still believe there’s no way DE will be endgame, this season or ever.
Try not to worry so much over what others think or write or predict, especially in this fandom. Trust me, it makes life easier :)
I think that the possibility of her choosing Damon should be non-existent so, yes.
I have absolutely no idea. I really couldn’t care less about the cure though, I’ve always thought it to be ridiculous. I’m more excited about a potential memory loss storyline, hopefully for Stefan (providing that he gets his memories back later on of course).
What do you think will happen?
Who said it was okay? It was absolutely not okay for Lexi to torture Stefan but these two situations are not even comparable. Elena is being tortured by two men who both claim to love her. The power dynamic here is completely different from what Stefan went through. Damon and Stefan have always had the mental and physical abilities to control Elena (though Stefan has chosen to never use these abilities while Damon does so regularly) since they are 100+ year old vampires. Even with Elena herself being turned the Salvatores are still stronger than her because they are older. For them to be intentionally causing her pain because she won’t behave in a way that is acceptable to them is grossly abusive. And more so given the fact that Elena was forced into her current state of mind by one of the men who’s now torturing her to change her back into a state where he can once again extort his control over her.
Awww thank you so much, dear!!

Delena fans also say that Damon is not at all abusive but that he’s a good, selfless person.
From what I’ve read about Midnight - SPOILERS - Elena does tell Damon that she loves him while he’s dying but at the end her and Stefan are together.
They were :) The last part of the last book can be read HERE and it is all Stelena. I think the anon was just wondering about L.J Smith’s books specifically but even there Stelena were endgame.
Thanks for the message!
I have not read any of the Vampire Diaries books, no. But the last book that L.J. Smith wrote was The Return: Midnight and in that one Stelena were endgame.

Ugh, I hope not. Normally I’d say there’s no way, because for one it would make Caroline look absolutely terrible, and second because it would be SO out of character for Stefan. But from the way the show looks these days I honestly wouldn’t be surprised. Staying true to the characters and maintaining the original storyline went out the window long ago.
I’m still not watching the episodes so I don’t know how accurate my thoughts on this are, but I don’t think they’re trying to throw us off. I think no-humanity Elena is brutally honest like we’ve been told, and everything she said last night was true. However, when she gets her humanity back I think she’s much more likely to “soften the blow” of her rejections of Damon. Like she’s always done, she’ll try to let him down without hurting him too much and this probably means leaving him (i.e. DE fans) with some hope.

Omg nowhere near that many!
